With over 23,000 books in its collection, PG is increasingly valuable resource for both research and entertainment. And, since virtually every book in the collection is public domain in the US, it is a great resource for material to recycle, reuse, or even just share without worrying about copyright infringement. The main feeder for Project Gutenberg is a website called Distributed Proofreaders. There is a wonderful community there, distributing the work of building PG's collection.
